Coronado Boathouse Restaurant

This famous building, constructed in 1887, was originally the Boathouse for the Hotel Del Coronado. The building was moved in 1967 to its current site and converted to a restaurant. The project provided a completed renovation of the historic building including upgrading interiors, structural code upgrades, ADA restrooms upgrades, and new electrical service and wiring. The restaurant continues to serve the community of Coronado and is said to be one of the “most painted buildings in Southern California.”
